We Need Volunteers

There are a number of opportunities for volunteering at Kamp Kaleo, all of which will give you great satisfaction in helping make possible a wonderful experience for our campers, as well as giving you memorable times of fellowship and fun.  It takes hundreds of volunteers every summer to fulfil the excellent programming provided at Kamp Kaleo.  Please help carry out this mission.

First Up Is The Annual Work Weekend

Grab your spouse, your brother, your daughter, your best friend and your youth group, and join us for a weekend of work and fun.  April xx is the time to come to Kaleo and spruce it up for the 2011 summer camping season.  

From washing and ironing curtains, painting walls, and cleaning buildings, to roofing a cabin or two, there is something for everyone to do on Work Weekend.  We provide the food, fellowship and good times…you provide the labor. And that equals a great weekend!  Just let us know you’re coming and we will be ready for you rain, snow or shine!

Be a Counselor in Training

If you are in high school and will be at least 16 years old this summer, why not consider our Counselor in Training program.

You’ll have the opportunity to work side by side with experienced counselors learning how to be a Kaleo Counselor.  This is a great opportunity for anyone who has the desire to share their faith, patience and sense of adventure.

You can choose from either of the following camps:  Junior Camp, June 17-22 or Primary Camp, July 1-3.

We Need Counselors

One of the great ways adults can experience Kaleo is by volunteering as a counselor at one of our exciting camps!  No prior church camp experience is needed as long as you like to work with children and youth.  Just come with a sense of adventure and enthusiasm and let the week take its course.

These camps are designed to provide a fun place for adults with special needs to come and experience what God has to offer in nature and to worship God in their own unique ways.  Many of our returning campers look forward to this one week all year long.  If you have the time and patience to share with these campers, we encourage you to sign up to be a companion.  It can be a life-changing experience for you, as well as for the campers.  Camp dates are:
